About the Organisational Review

In May 2025, Council endorsed changes to their organisational structure as part of the 2025–2026 Budget. These changes are designed to ensure Mornington Peninsula Shire Council remains financially sustainable while continuing to deliver high quality services for the growing community. Following a comprehensive review by an independent local government consultancy and with input from more than 760 of their team members, they are reshaping their structure to reduce complexity, strengthen accountability, and free up more capacity for staff who deliver services on the ground. This means Mornington Peninsula Shire Council is entering a new chapter, with refreshed roles and opportunities for talented people to make a real impact.
