The Opportunity
Our client is undertaking a major S/4HANA migration and is seeking a Program Architect to lead the design and execution of a complex, enterprise-wide SAP transformation. This is an exciting opportunity to influence strategic outcomes and work with cutting-edge SAP technologies in a highly visible role.
January 2026 interview, Febuary 2026 start. Must be able to attend the office in Melbourne CBD 3 days per week.
The Role
As a Program Architect, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the S/4HANA migration strategy, aligning technology solutions with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.
Your other responsibilities will include:
- Leading end-to-end SAP solution architecture, ensuring integration across SAP and non-SAP systems
- Providing expert advice on SAP Activate methodology, Fit-to-Standard, and Agile delivery approaches
- Creating architectural blueprints, roadmaps, and technical standards documentation
- Engaging with business leaders and stakeholders to understand requirements and promote innovation
- Driving governance processes and ensuring adherence to Clean Core principles and best practices
- Supporting solution interoperability and long-term platform stability
About you
In order to be a successful applicant, you will have extensive experience as a SAP Architect with hands-on S/4HANA implementation experience.
You will also have:
- Proven success in leading SAP architecture for large, complex transformation programs
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules including IS-U, FI, CO, PM, MM, BW, BTP, and integration tools
- Familiarity with SAP RISE, Clean Core, and SAP BTP in a utility context
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders
- A strong strategic mindset with the ability to communicate technical solutions clearly
- Experience in the utilities or energy sector is highly regarded
