Davidson is proud to partner with Iberdrola for the VNI West project - an iconic transmission link that will help deliver a reliable, renewable-powered energy future for Victoria and NSW.

As the project accelerates, Iberdrola is seeking two Land Acquisition Coordinators to manage negotiations, agreements and property transactions required to secure the land rights for this major linear infrastructure project.

About the role
Reporting to the land and development leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of land acquisition activities across regional Victoria. This includes landowner engagement, due diligence, documentation, compliance and negotiation.

Both roles are suited to strong communicators with negotiation experience and genuine interest in property, land management or infrastructure development.

Your responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with landowners, addressing questions with clarity and professionalism
  • Negotiate acquisition agreements and support land transactions across multiple properties
  • Prepare and review documentation including titles, purchase agreements, deeds and escrow instructions
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing land, environment and acquisition processes
  • Coordinate closely with engineers, environmental specialists, legal teams and external advisors
  • Conduct due diligence including site assessments, valuations and environmental considerations
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular progress updates to project leadership
  • Track and manage budgets to support cost-effective land acquisition outcomes


About you

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Land Management, Environmental Science or related field (desirable but not essential)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in land acquisition, property negotiations, infrastructure or utilities
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a calm, professional communication style
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across diverse teams
  • Solid understanding of property law, land acquisition processes and regulatory frameworks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; GIS experience advantageous
  • Full Driver’s Licence

  • Local/regional residency
  • Experience with rural landholders, linear infrastructure or major transmission projects
