Davidson is again proud to partner with ASC as it undertakes one of the most significant workforce expansions in Australia’s defence history. With Collins-class sustainment, life-of-type extension, and AUKUS-driven growth accelerating, ASC’s global mobility requirements are scaling at an extraordinary pace. Ensuring the right people move seamlessly across borders, regions and programs is now mission-critical and this role sits at the centre of that challenge.
The Opportunity
As ASC’s Global Mobility Manager, you’ll drive the strategic direction, design and execution of a mobility program that directly supports national defence outcomes. You will work closely with ASC’s senior executives, influencing decision-making and translating future workforce needs into a scalable, compliant, high-performance global mobility framework. You’ll uplift mobility maturity across ASC, build strong relationships across cross-functional teams, and embed a consistent “one ASC” mobility experience across the organisation.
What You Will Lead
- Partnering with senior ASC leadership to shape mobility strategy aligned to future workforce demands.
- Leading end-to-end global mobility policy, compliance, vendor management and program design.
- Building strong, trusted relationships that support leaders operating in high-pressure, time-critical environments.
- Delivering clear reporting, insights and cost visibility to inform decision-making at executive level.
- Establishing a mobility experience that is efficient, human, consistent and scalable during a period of rapid organisational growth.
What You Bring
- Extensive experience leading global mobility programs in large, complex organisations.
- The ability to influence senior leaders and build credibility quickly.
- Deep understanding of multi-jurisdictional compliance, tax frameworks, immigration processes, and cross-border workforce movement.
- Experience designing or uplifting mobility frameworks to support organisational scale.
- A global mindset, high integrity and the confidence to operate in ambiguity.
Why This Role Matters
ASC is building the workforce that will support Australia’s submarine capability for decades. Every movement, every visa, every relocation, every assignment contributes directly to this sovereign mission. The Global Mobility Manager ensures ASC can move the right people, to the right place, at the right time.
If you want to lead mobility at national scale, shape a high-impact function, and partner with leaders delivering work of strategic importance for Australia, we’d love to speak with you.
