About the Role
A full time permanent opportunity is available for an Accountant to join the Brisbane CBD finance team. Reporting to the CFO, this role provides broad exposure across accounts receivable, general accounting, reporting and process improvement. It is a hands on role that offers variety, responsibility and the chance to contribute to ongoing business improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end to end accounts receivable including invoicing, payment monitoring and maintaining clear cash flow visibility
- Support month end processes including journals, reconciliations, payroll and tax lodgments
- Assist with accurate and timely financial reporting
- Identify and support improvements to finance systems and reporting processes
- Work with internal stakeholders to support day to day operations
About You
- Degree qualified in Accounting with CA or CPA completed or in progress
- Strong experience across accounts receivable and general accounting
- Experience working within joint venture environments is highly regarded
- Exposure to commercial or industrial sectors is desirable
- Detail oriented, proactive and confident in solving problems
- Professional, collaborative and able to build strong working relationships
