Davidson is partnering with a purpose-led organisation in Victoria’s utility sector to support service delivery through clear, reliable and accessible knowledge content.

About the Role
This is a full-time, initial 6-month engagement based in Melbourne CBD.

As a Business Analyst, the focus is on turning complex business processes and system behaviours into clear, concise, user-friendly knowledge content that supports operational readiness.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Translating process maps, system behaviour and SME input into structured, easy-to-follow content.
  • Producing work instructions, quick reference guides and one-pagers (with embedded visuals like annotated screens and flows).
  • Partnering with project, product, business and customer-facing teams to validate content and keep delivery aligned to readiness/release timelines.
  • Maintaining a searchable knowledge repository, closing content gaps via analytics/user feedback, and applying governance/version control standards.
  • Using Miro, Jira, SharePoint and Confluence to manage workflow and documentation.


About You

Technical writing experience is a must. The successful candidate will bring:

  • Extensive experience across business analysis, technical writing and process design.
  • A qualification in communications, information management, technical writing (or similar).
  • Experience in knowledge management and maintaining a knowledge management system.
  • Confidence resolving ambiguity and translating process/system behaviours into clear step-by-step guidance.
  • Experience producing structured knowledge content (work instructions, QRGs, knowledge articles, etc.).
  • Experience working in Agile/digital delivery environments; proficiency with Jira, Confluence, BPM tools and Miro.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and exposure to customer-facing platforms/contact centre environments.
