About the Role

As the Workforce & Scheduling Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring quality service delivery through proactive workforce planning, efficient rostering, and strong compliance. Overseeing rosters that cover 12,000+ hours per month for more than 50 clients, you will be accountable for building efficiency, supporting staff wellbeing, and ensuring every roster reflects both client needs and Award/NDIS compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analysing workforce needs and preparing quarterly capacity reports.
  • Leading rostering and scheduling operations to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Building strong relationships with staff, clients, and families, ensuring excellent communication and service outcomes.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimise resourcing and reduce costs.

About You

You are an experienced workforce planner or rostering professional who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centred environment. With a strong understanding of SCHADS Award conditions and NDIS pricing rules, you bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in workforce planning and/or rostering.
  • Strong working knowledge of rostering systems (ShiftCare highly regarded).
  • A customer-focused approach with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  • Experience in the disability sector and/or management is highly desirable.
