The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Workforce Management Business Analyst to support a major workforce management initiative within a large Queensland Government environment. This role will see you analyse existing clinical rostering systems and business processes across multiple sites, identifying opportunities to improve workforce management and inform future roster-to-pay integration strategies. Working with a broad range of business and technical stakeholders, you'll play a key role in shaping future-state workforce solutions while delivering high-quality analysis and recommendations. This is an initial 3-month contract offering $1,050.58 per day + super, with Brisbane CBD as the primary location and flexible working arrangements available.
The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for analysing current workforce management environments and developing recommendations to support future business outcomes. You will:
- Conduct current-state analysis of clinical rostering systems, workflows and business processes.
- Facilitate workshops and engage with clinical, operational, ICT, payroll and executive stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Produce high-quality Business Requirement Specifications (BRS), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), process maps and use cases.
- Develop future-state ("To-Be") process models, identify integration opportunities and assess risks and dependencies.
- Prepare executive reports, recommendations and business documentation to support strategic decision-making.
- Support knowledge transfer activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
You are a collaborative Business Analyst with strong analytical capability and experience delivering complex workforce or enterprise system initiatives. You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience delivering business analysis engagements within large and complex organisations.
- Strong experience producing BRS, SRS, use cases, process models and detailed business documentation.
- Experience working with workforce management, rostering, HR and/or payroll systems.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and communication skills across technical and business audiences.
- Experience analysing system integrations, data flows and enterprise business processes.
- Experience within healthcare or government environments will be highly regarded, along with relevant Business Analysis certifications.
