The Opportunity
We are seeking a Workday Security Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of security across the Workday platform. You will play a critical role in ensuring compliance, protecting data, and embedding scalable security practices that support business outcomes. This is a chance to step into a pivotal role where you will shape security frameworks and influence best practice standards across the organisation.
The Role
In this role, you will take ownership of Workday security strategy and execution, ensuring the platform is both secure and fit for purpose.
- Design, develop, and maintain Workday security frameworks and controls
- Partner with business and technology teams to translate requirements into solutions
- Implement role-based access and segregation of duties across all Workday modules
- Provide expertise on audits, compliance, and governance practices
- Develop and enforce best practices for secure configuration and ongoing operations
- Lead remediation of identified security gaps and risks
About You
You’ll bring deep expertise in Workday and a passion for creating secure, compliant, and resilient systems.
- Strong background in Workday security design, frameworks, and access management
- Knowledge of compliance standards and audit requirements within HRIS platforms
- Skilled in implementing role-based access controls and SoD policies
- Ability to partner with stakeholders to influence and guide security direction
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on practical, scalable solutions
- Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
