ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Benefits, Reporting, Compensation & Expenses Consultant on a 6-month contract with high potential extension, to provide functional expertise across key Workday HCM and Financial touchpoints; on a Hybrid work model. This role will focus on supporting and optimising existing Workday capabilities while assisting with data readiness and transition activities as the organisation moves its HCM platform from Workday to SuccessFactors.
You will partner closely with HR, Finance, Payroll, Total Rewards, and Technology teams to ensure operational continuity, strong governance, and high-quality reporting during this transition period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day functional support across Workday Benefits, Compensation/Advanced Compensation, Expenses, and Reporting.
- Support configuration and maintenance of benefit plans, eligibility rules, life events, enrollments, and compliance controls.
- Configure and support compensation structures, grades, plans, and advanced compensation cycles.
- Maintain and enhance expense policies, validations, approvals, and accounting alignment.
- Build and maintain advanced, composite, and matrix reports, dashboards, and analytics.
- Support audits, compliance reporting, and data extracts.
- Assist with data extraction, validation, and transition support for the SuccessFactors implementation team.
- Collaborate with integration teams on EIBs, Core Connectors, and third-party interfaces.
- Participate in Workday release cycles, testing, and production support.
- Produce functional documentation, support UAT, and contribute to knowledge transfer.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3–7+ years of hands-on Workday HCM and Financials experience.
- Strong configuration experience in Benefits, Compensation/Advanced Compensation, Expenses, and Reporting.
- Solid understanding of eligibility rules, compliance, and cross-module dependencies.
- Experience supporting Workday in a transition or transformation environment.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
