The Role:
Join a team modernising and supporting enterprise infrastructure across Citrix, Windows Server, and Red Hat Linux environments. You’ll play a key role in reviewing, upgrading, and securing systems, ensuring performance and compliance, and driving automation across platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Windows Server and Red Hat Linux environments
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability
- Deliver upgrades, patches, and ensure compliance with security standards
- Automate builds and deployments using tools like MECM, MDT, and PowerCLI
- Support VM migration and hybrid infrastructure operations
- Participate in a 24/7 support model, including on-call and after-hours work
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- Strong Windows Server & Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration
- Expertise in VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi templating
- Solid knowledge of Citrix (Studio, Director, NetScaler Gateway)
- Scripting proficiency (PowerShell, Bash, or PowerCLI)
- Familiar with MECM/SCCM or similar deployment tools
- Demonstrated experience enhancing infrastructure in enterprise/government settings
Desirable:
- Exposure to ISO27001, Essential Eight, or ITIL frameworks
- Experience in SLA-driven or cost-recovery environments
- Understanding of secure build baselines and patching strategies
