About the Role
As a Windows Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and supporting the organisation’s Windows server and endpoint environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, administer, and optimise Windows Server and Windows 10/11 environments
- Support and manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related core services
- Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Intune, SCCM/ConfigMgr, and endpoint management tools
- Implement and maintain security controls aligned to CIS/SOC/NIST standards
- Handle patching, updates, and vulnerability remediation
- Provide Level 3 support for escalated incidents and problem resolution
- Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations, and architecture improvements
- Automate and streamline operational tasks using PowerShell
- Maintain documentation, standards, and configuration records
About You
- Strong experience in Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022)
- Solid knowledge of Active Directory, AAD, GPOs, and identity management
- Hands-on experience with Intune, SCCM/ConfigMgr, or other MDM tools
- Experience with Office 365, Azure AD, and hybrid environments
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation capability
- Understanding of security hardening frameworks (CIS/NIST)
- Exposure to networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Experience operating within ITIL-based environments
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach
