We're recruiting on behalf of a respected organisation that provides essential services to the Victorian community. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative Safety & Wellbeing team where you'll partner with leaders across a diverse operational environment, providing practical advice while supporting the ongoing development of safety systems, risk management and organisational capability.

About the Role

Working closely with operational leaders, you'll help embed a proactive safety culture by providing trusted advice, supporting risk management and driving continuous improvement across the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with leaders to provide practical health and safety advice.
  • Supporting hazard identification, risk management and safety improvement initiatives.
  • Assisting with incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Conducting workplace inspections, audits and safety observations.
  • Delivering safety training and coaching leaders to build capability.
  • Monitoring safety performance and contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Supporting the ongoing development of safety systems and processes.

About You

You'll be a collaborative safety professional who enjoys influencing positive outcomes and building strong relationships across operational environments.

You'll bring:

  • Qualifications in Work Health & Safety or a related discipline.
  • Experience in operational, infrastructure, utilities, construction, manufacturing or other high-risk environments.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and contemporary risk management practices.
  • Experience in audits, incident investigations and safety systems.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach with a passion for continuous improvement.
