UKG Business/Functional Analyst

Our client has embarked on a major workforce transformation program and is seeking an experienced UKG Business/Functional Analyst
to support the implementation of the scheduling and time & attendance components of the UKG (Kronos) platform.
This role will play a critical part in process design, documentation, testing, and stakeholder engagement—helping shape the success of a program that will impact thousands of staff across the organisation.
About the Role
As the UKG Specialist, you will:
- Support the implementation of UKG's scheduling module, with a go-live targeted for next year
- Assist with system testing, knowledge transfer and aftercare support for Time & Attendance
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and SMEs to document business processes and scheduling requirements
- Partner with Organisational Change Management (OCM) to align training with designed processes
- Contribute to persona design, user stories, test case development, and stakeholder reporting
- Prepare and deliver succinct presentations for senior business owners across the university
- Work with UKG testers to validate functionality and support production defect triage
You will have the following commercial experience:
- Proven experience with UKG (Kronos), specifically in Time & Attendance and/or Scheduling
- Strong background in HRIS platforms, particularly in implementation or enhancement contexts
- Demonstrated ability to document business processes, requirements and acceptance criteria
- Experience in agile, fast-paced environments where flexibility and independence are essential
- Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
- Confidence working independently on defined tasks, escalating with solutions when needed
Desirable experience:
- Experience working in university or higher education settings
- ERP, scheduling or rostering-related transformation exposure
- Familiarity with ST&A systems (Scheduling, Time & Attendance)
