Davidson has proudly partnered with a reputable government agency to assist them in sourcing a Transition Manager.

About the Role

The Transition Manager will be accountable for leading the successful transition of multiple enterprise technology solutions into the new operating environment. This includes:

1. ServiceNow ITSM (IT Service Management)

2. ServiceNow FSM (Field Service Management)

3. ServiceNow Swap & Go

4. SAP S/4HANA (Logistics and Asset Management)


Key responsibilities:

Strategic Transition Leadership

  • Develop and manage a unified transition strategy and readiness roadmap
  • Coordinate go-live planning and post-go-live transition activities
  • Identify and mitigate risks to service continuity during the transition

ServiceNow Transition Management

  • Oversee the transition of ServiceNow ITSM, FSM and Swap & Go solutions into the organisation’s operational environment
  • Ensure ServiceNow support models, SLAs, escalation paths, and platform governance are in place

SAP S/4HANA Transition Management

  • Manage the transition of SAP-enabled logistics and asset management processes into BAU
  • Ensure SAP system readiness, data integrity, and integration with ServiceNow workflows

Cutover and Hypercare Planning

  • Lead the design and execution of cutover and hypercare support models
  • Establish support coverage, issue resolution pathways and ownership for early life support

Knowledge Transfer and Operational Readiness

  • Deliver structured knowledge transfer plans to operations, support, and IT teams
  • Validate training outcomes and handover readiness for all impacted teams

Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting

  • Provide regular progress updates to the Program Steering Committee and PMO
  • Engage cross-functional teams, vendors, and operational leaders throughout the transition

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in transitioning enterprise platforms to BAU, including ServiceNow and SAP S/4HANA
  • Experience managing operational handovers, support models, and organisational readiness
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proven ability to work across IT, logistics, support and field-based operations
  • Strong understanding of ITIL service management frameworks
