We are working with a state government client who is seeking experienced Training Development Officer.
About the Role
- Prepare comprehensive operational staff onboarding tools
- Develop process documentation to support consistent and correct use of existing tools and templates.
About you
- Proven experience in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating learning and development programs tailored to organisational needs.
- Ability to create engaging and effective training materials, including e-learning modules, workshops, and blended learning approaches.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with internal stakeholders, including subject matter experts, and training participants.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Experience managing end-to-end projects, including scoping, planning, delivery, and evaluation of training initiatives.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within deadlines.
- Highly desirable: Demonstrated understanding of procurement and contract management processes, policies, and frameworks, particularly within the public sector OR experience in integrating procurement and contract management principles into training programs.
- Qualifications: While not mandatory a relevant qualification in Training and Assessment would be well regarded
The Benefits
- $87.47 per hour + Super (PAYG Agency Contractor)
- Contract up to June 2026
- Brisbane, CBD
- Monday to Friday, Full time hours (36.25 hrs)
