Trainer – HCM Implementation | Major Transformation
About the Organisation
This organisation is undertaking a significant People Experience transformation, implementing a new HCM platform across a diverse workforce of corporate, operational and field-based employees.
With a strong focus on safety, community and modern ways of working, this program will fundamentally change how leaders and employees interact with people systems and processes – requiring practical, on-the-ground training that works across very different workforce groups.
About the Role
We are seeking experienced HCM / Systems Trainers to join the program immediately through until January 2027, supporting the design, build and delivery of training across the organisation.
While Workday experience is highly regarded, it is no longer essential. We are equally interested in experienced Trainers who have supported the implementation of other large-scale HCM / HRIS platforms and understand what it takes to drive adoption across a complex workforce.
This is a genuinely hands-on role across the full training lifecycle – from instructional design and development through to delivery, go-live and post-implementation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop HCM training materials and learning content
- Deliver engaging training across face-to-face, virtual and on-site environments
- Tailor training for corporate, leadership, operational and field-based employees
- Deliver practical systems training to blue-collar workforces with varying levels of digital literacy
- Coordinate training schedules, logistics and delivery across multiple sites
- Track attendance, completion rates and training effectiveness
- Support go-live, hypercare and ongoing user adoption
- Work closely with SMEs and the broader program team to ensure learning content remains accurate and fit for purpose
About You
To be considered, you must have:
- Previous experience delivering training as part of a significant HCM / HRIS implementation
- Workday HCM experience is highly regarded but not essential
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing training content, as well as delivering it
- Proven experience delivering systems training to blue-collar / operational workforces – this is essential
- Experience working within large, complex and/or multi-site organisations
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to adapt your delivery style across audiences with very different levels of system and digital capability
- Confidence working in a fast-paced implementation environment where priorities and training requirements can evolve quickly
Additional Requirements
- Available to commence immediately
- Available for the full contract term through until January 2027
- Current driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle
- Ability and willingness to travel between Mango Hill, Caboolture and Maroochydore
- Flexibility around training schedules – some sessions may require starts as early as 5:30am
- Experience delivering blended learning across face-to-face, virtual and on-the-job environments
- Experience within utilities, infrastructure, government, resources, manufacturing or another operational environment will be highly regarded
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and change/adoption frameworks is desirable
- Relevant qualifications in Learning & Development, HR or systems/HCM certification are desirable
What's On Offer
- $766.83 + super per day
- Contract through until January 2027
- Immediate start
- Major enterprise HCM transformation
- Hands-on role spanning both instructional design and delivery
- Diverse workforce across corporate and operational environments
- Opportunity to have a visible impact on the successful adoption of a major new people system
Why Apply?
This is a great opportunity for an experienced systems Trainer to join a major transformation program where the quality of the training will have a direct impact on how successfully employees adopt new systems and ways of working.
You don't necessarily need to be a Workday specialist. If you've successfully trained a blue-collar workforce through a major HCM implementation and can design, build and deliver practical learning that works on the ground, we'd love to hear from you.
