About the Role
As Day Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operations of the Brisbane depot. This hands-on role involves supporting staff on site, conducting audits, and working directly with clients to ensure safe and efficient traffic management services. You’ll also play a key part in maintaining compliance and building positive relationships with both your team and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting staff onsite with operational requirements
- Conducting audits and ensuring corrective actions are implemented
- Providing hands-on operational support to clients and crews
- Overseeing equipment set-up and placement
- Managing OH&S issues and incident reporting
- Carrying out site visits to monitor safety and performance
About You
We’re looking for a motivated and safety-focused leader with:
- 3–5 years’ supervisory experience in traffic management
- A valid driver’s licence and in-depth knowledge of industry safety standards
- Strong communication, organisation, and client relationship skills
- Experience with Traffio or similar operational systems
- The ability to interpret TGS, permits, and technical documents
- Relevant traffic management certifications, including:
- Working in Proximity to Traffic – Awareness Part 1 & 2
- RIIWHS205D Control Traffic with Stop-Slow Bat
- RIIWHS302D Implement Traffic Management Plan
