About the Role
We are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for a TOCC Estimator QS (Value Engineer) who will work with multi-disciplinary teams responsible for project strategy, control and delivery to maximise the value of large-scale projects, through leading the project estimation activities
Responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage the preparation for the project estimations and costs to be completed during the Development Phase.
- Lead and manage the process of gathering information from project teams required for project estimation. Also review and ensure that the information is in line with expectations and quality. This is applicable in early stages projects, bidding for auctions up to the Final Investment Decision
- Own the records for the project inputs required for the project estimation, coordinating, challenging and assessing the inputs from the project team for the CAPEX, OPEX, and Payment Schedule
- Support the identification of strategic levers and implementation thereof into the project to increase the competitiveness and deliverability of the project
- Coordination with the global teams to evaluate, optimise, and increase the value of the project
About You
To be successful in this role you will have a minimum five years experience in estimating / quantity surveying on aligned project types (transmission or other linear infrastructure), You will have demonstrated technical and analytical skills, and a good all-round understanding of financial, commercial, and business principles. You have well-developed inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to form strong working relationships with various stakeholders and teams. Please note that as this position requires coordination with global teams, you will require flexibility in your working hours to allow for meetings in different time zones.
