TIBCO BW Specialist – Contract | Melbourne
We are seeking an experienced TIBCO BusinessWorks Specialist
to join a leading global consulting organisation on a 3-month contract. This role offers the chance to work within a complex enterprise integration environment as part of a major transformation program.
About the Role
As the TIBCO BW Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, deployment, and optimisation of TIBCO components across multiple environments—Development, Training, Testing, and Production. You will play a key role in environment setup, runtime configuration, secure communication, and version control of integration deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure TIBCO products including:
- TIBCO BusinessWorks
- EMS
- Runtime Agent
- TIBCO Enterprise Administration (TEA)
- TIBCO FTL
- Hawk
- Configure environments and runtime packages for BW applications aligned with project and governance guidelines.
- Deploy and manage BW applications, including versioning and rollback management.
- Implement SSL/TLS certificates and ensure secure communication between components.
- Handle Linux-based administration tasks as part of environment setup.
- Maintain source control using Bitbucket and Sourcetree.
- Troubleshoot issues across middleware, networking, deployment, and configuration layers.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with the TIBCO platform and its components.
- Proven ability in TIBCO installation, configuration, and environment setup.
- Solid understanding of networking and security concepts:
- SSL/TLS certificate setup
- Ports, firewalls, host configuration
- Experience deploying BW applications and managing release cycles.
- Linux system administration knowledge.
- Ability to create scripts to support automation and deployment activities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Bitbucket and Sourcetree for version control.
