The Opportunity
This is a hands-on Test Lead contract focused on delivering high-quality outcomes across Asset and Works Management (AWM) and Safety platforms, ensuring end-to-end processes are proven, defects are driven to closure, and the business is ready to adopt the new ways of working.
The Role
You will lead testing across AWM and Safety solutions, owning the test strategy and execution from planning through UAT and closure, with a strong focus on real-world operational workflows.Own the Test Strategy, Test Plan, governance, environments, and test data approach
- Define, review, and manage test scenarios and scripts across both solutions
- Lead System Testing, Integration Testing, End-to-End testing, and UAT coordination
- Run defect triage, manage priorities, and drive issues to resolution with vendors and SMEs
- Maintain traceability (requirements to test coverage) and produce test evidence packs
- Deliver clear status reporting, dashboards, and test closure reporting for stakeholders
About You
You are a Test Lead who understands how AWM and Safety systems actually get used, and you can translate that into sharp test coverage that finds the real issues early.
- Strong experience testing AWM solutions (work orders, asset registers, maintenance)
- Strong experience testing Safety solutions (incidents, hazards, investigations, controls)
- Confident leading UAT with operational teams and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong integration testing mindset, including data validation and cross-system workflows
- Excellent defect management discipline, including daily triage and closure focus
- Desirable: exposure to Brightly (AWM) and/or Beakon (Safety), plus ISTQB certification
