📌 About the role
The Davidson Technology Consulting team is growing and we are seeking an experienced Test Lead / Director to lead testing across a major Financial Services transformation. This role will suit a senior testing leader who can operate strategically while providing hands-on direction across the full test lifecycle where you will:
- Lead testing across core banking, payments and enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Drive delivery across SIT, E2E, UAT, migration rehearsals, cutover and hypercare.
- Oversee integration, migration, separation or divestment testing, including data migration activity.
- Manage multi-vendor teams, governance, defects, risks, dependencies and executive reporting.
✅ About you
You bring 12–15+ years of testing leadership experience within Financial Services, ideally across core banking and payments, with the credibility to influence senior stakeholders and lead in highly regulated environments.
- Proven success in migration, integration, separation or divestment programs.
- Strong leadership across planning, execution, defect management and quality governance.
- Confidence working with executives, vendors and cross-functional delivery teams.
- Ability to keep teams aligned to critical milestones and quality outcomes.
