About the Role
Seeking a seasoned Test Analyst to support User Acceptance Testing for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP implementation spanning Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance.
This role requires hands-on, manual testing and is focused on supporting business SMEs as they perform testing as well.
You will act as a trusted guide and organiser, ensuring testing evidence is captured correctly, defects are well documented, and issues are efficiently resolved.
This is an excellent role for someone who enjoys working closely with people, bringing structure to chaos, and helping non-technical users succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- UAT Execution Support:
- Guide business SMEs through UAT activities and test case execution.
- Help testers correctly record results, capture evidence and follow agreed processes.
- Raise or update defects on behalf of business testers when required.
- Defect Coordination
- Work with technical teams and the implementation partner to:
- Clarify defect details
- Support triage and prioritisation
- Track fixes through to closure
- Coordinate re-testing activities with business testers.
- Work with technical teams and the implementation partner to:
- Test Case & Documentation Maintenance:
- Update and maintain test cases during testing cycles.
- Document:
- New scenarios identified during UAT
- Test data used (for reuse by others)
- Dependencies, prerequisites and sequencing between tests
- General Support
- Act as a calm, approachable point of contact for testers.
- Provide hands-on assistance to make UAT easier and less intimidating for business users.
About You
- Significant prior experience as a Test Analyst
- Strong experience leading or managing UAT for ERP implementations
- Strong understanding of business process testing
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP experience
- Azure DevOps or similar defect management tools
- FMCG experience (preferred)
- Exposure to Sales, Distribution, Supply Chain and/or Finance processes (preferred)
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
- Confidence working with non-technical business users, providing guidance and reassurance
