Temp Receptionist

Administration & Office Support

Davidson is partnering with a well-regarded community services organisation seeking an experienced Receptionist to provide front-of-house support during a busy period. This is an 8-week temporary assignment, starting immediately, ideal for someone who thrives in a people-focused environment and understands the sensitivity required when working within community care.




About the Role

As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming, supportive and professional environment for clients, families and stakeholders. This is a fast-paced reception position requiring confidence, empathy and strong organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a busy reception desk, including phone and face-to-face enquiries
  • Supporting clients accessing community care services with warmth and professionalism
  • Coordinating appointments, data entry and general administrative support
  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

About You

  • Proven experience working within community care, disability services, aged care or similar
  • Strong customer service background with the ability to handle sensitive situations
  • Calm, empathetic and professional communication style
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and learning new systems quickly
  • Available to commence immediately and commit to the full 8-week contract
