Davidson is partnering with a well-regarded community services organisation seeking an experienced Receptionist to provide front-of-house support during a busy period. This is an 8-week temporary assignment, starting immediately, ideal for someone who thrives in a people-focused environment and understands the sensitivity required when working within community care.
About the Role
As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming, supportive and professional environment for clients, families and stakeholders. This is a fast-paced reception position requiring confidence, empathy and strong organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a busy reception desk, including phone and face-to-face enquiries
- Supporting clients accessing community care services with warmth and professionalism
- Coordinating appointments, data entry and general administrative support
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
About You
- Proven experience working within community care, disability services, aged care or similar
- Strong customer service background with the ability to handle sensitive situations
- Calm, empathetic and professional communication style
- Confident using Microsoft Office and learning new systems quickly
- Available to commence immediately and commit to the full 8-week contract
