About the Role
The Technology Operations Lead will oversee day-to-day technology operations to ensure a high-quality, reliable service across the business. Reporting into senior leadership, this role will own operational rhythm and outcomes across:
- Daily IT operations across core systems, cloud platforms, networks and end-user environments
- Incident leadership as the escalation point for critical outages, driving swift restoration and prevention
- Vendor and service provider management, ensuring performance against SLAs and commercial outcomes
- IT Service Management (ITSM) uplift and optimisation (including processes, governance and operational maturity)
- Operational risk, compliance, DR/BCP planning and reporting in collaboration with risk stakeholders
- Team leadership, coaching and capability uplift
About You
To succeed, the ideal consultant will bring:
- Extensive experience leading teams in an IT operations environment
- Strong incident, problem and service request management experience
- Proven vendor management capability (performance, commercial levers, relationship management)
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow (and/or Jira) and strong working knowledge of ITIL/ITSM methodologies
- Confidence engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders, with the ability to influence and drive outcomes
- A proactive, calm, “get-it-done” approach when priorities shift
- Experience working in highly regulated environments is a plus
