About the Role
As a Technical Product Owner, you’ll take ownership of the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for key cloud technology initiatives. You’ll play a central role in guiding Agile teams through the full product lifecycle—from ideation to release and continuous improvement. Working closely with stakeholders and engineering teams across onshore and offshore locations, you’ll ensure the delivery of secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions aligned with business goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and communicating the product vision and roadmap
- Managing and prioritising a well-groomed product backlog
- Facilitating Agile ceremonies and ensuring smooth execution of sprints
- Translating business needs into clear technical requirements
- Driving platform health, cloud adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitoring KPIs to inform product decisions and maintain compliance
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner in cloud-based environments
- Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP, APIs, microservices, and DevOps practices
- Solid experience working within banking or financial services
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement abilities
- A data-driven mindset and the ability to prioritise effectively
- FinOps or cloud cost optimisation experience
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps
- Background in software engineering or systems architecture
