Davidson is partnering with a leading utilities organisation transforming how customers are migrated onto a new billing platform. You’ll join a small, specialised team focused on designing an AI-enabled migration model that is faster, smarter and more scalable than traditional approaches..
About the Role
You will lead the design and delivery of a new migration method that leans heavily on AI and automation rather than manual effort. This is a hands-on, technically focused delivery role.
Key focus areas:
- Using AI-enabled scenario testing and configuration-based tooling to design a repeatable migration method
- Running large-scale simulations (250+, then 500 and 1,000+ customers) to prove the approach
- Using data from those simulations to spot patterns, failure points and optimisation opportunities
- Working closely with engineers and SMEs to refine rules, configurations and interfaces so the model can scale and ultimately be offered as a packaged, fixed-price solution
Initial term is 6 months, with strong potential to extend.
About You
You will bring:
- Experience delivering platforms or large-scale software implementations
- Background in migrations, integrations or complex data-driven delivery
- Confidence working with configuration, data structures and interfaces
- A sprint-driven, outcomes-focused style – comfortable experimenting, iterating and using AI tools to accelerate delivery
