About the Project
These opportunities sit within Barwon Water's Buniya Digital Transformation Program, a major enterprise-wide initiative focused on modernising systems, processes and ways of working. As a Technical Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging business requirements, service design and technical delivery, helping ensure solutions are clearly defined, configured and successfully implemented.
About the Role
Reporting into the Product Owner / Agile Delivery Lead and working within cross-functional delivery squads, you will provide the technical clarity required to support design-led delivery across the WAM program. This role sits at the intersection of business, systems and technology, ensuring requirements are translated into actionable technical outcomes and enabling delivery teams to implement solutions with confidence.
Key Responsibilities

- Support the implementation and configuration of the IBM Maximo Works & Asset Management platform.
- Identify and document system behaviours, integrations, dependencies and end-to-end process flows across multiple systems.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, delivery squads and IBM delivery teams to ensure requirements are understood and validated.
- Surface risks, assumptions, gaps and cross-system impacts early to support informed design and delivery decisions.
About You
You are a technically minded analyst who enjoys working between business and technology teams to solve complex problems. Comfortable operating in evolving environments, you can quickly build context, navigate ambiguity and translate business needs into practical technical outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience as a Technical Analyst, Systems Analyst or similar role within complex, multi-system environments.
- Strong capability translating business requirements into technical specifications, system configurations and delivery artefacts.
- Experience working with enterprise applications, integrations, workflows and technology delivery teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting asset management, maintenance, operational or ERP-style platforms such as IBM Maximo.
- Exposure to water, utilities, infrastructure or other asset-intensive industries
