The Opportunity:
Join our client’s Trading Technology Solutions team as a Business Analyst (Trading) and play a critical role in delivering key projects that drive our strategic trading platform, support renewable initiatives, and enhance offerings to large corporate customers. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure successful project outcomes within a dynamic and varied workload.
The Role:
As a Business Analyst you will be working across a number of different Energy Trading related projects, utilising your industry experience to ensure the best outcome for the business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document the scope, requirements, and deliverables for trading-related projects.
- Provide comprehensive business, process, and system analysis to support the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects.
- Facilitate workshops and sessions to gather, investigate, and analyze business processes and requirements.
- Develop and maintain business process documentation, requirements, and functional specifications to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Coordinate and execute testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure the successful implementation of business systems.
About You:
In order to be a successful applicant you will have a strong working knowledge of Energy trading, with relevant project experience within Utilities. You will also have:
- Previous experience working across energy trading & its related systems
- Demonstrated experience in business analysis within large and complex environments, with a track record of delivering significant business change.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including workshop facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience with Agile frameworks, including sprints, Jira/Azure DevOps, and backlog management.
- Proficiency in documenting requirements, process definition, and using tools like Azure DevOps, Confluence, and Miro.
