Our client is a well established not for profit organisation delivering health, wellbeing and community support services across South East Queensland.
As part of continued growth within its aged care services, a newly created opportunity is available for an experienced Team Leader, Aged Care to join the team based in Margate.
About the Role
This is a hands on leadership position where you will work closely with frontline employees and clients while supporting day to day service delivery.
You will:
• Lead and support approximately 8 frontline support workers
• Support a portfolio of approximately 80 to 90 clients
• Coordinate rosters and manage daily service coverage
• Complete timecard approvals and workforce administration
• Coordinate client onboarding and new service commencement
• Conduct client reviews and ongoing service coordination
• Respond to client enquiries and resolve service related issues
• Build strong relationships with clients, families, employees and internal stakeholders
• Complete client visits and remain visible across field based service delivery
About You
You will bring:
• Experience within aged care, community services or NDIS
• Previous experience leading or coordinating frontline employees
• Strong understanding of client focused service delivery
• Experience across rostering, workforce coordination and administration
• Strong problem solving and organisational skills
• Confidence handling client enquiries and service delivery issues
• A practical and approachable leadership style
• Willingness to work across both office and client environments
Aged care experience is strongly preferred, although candidates with strong transferable experience from NDIS or community services may also be considered.
