Our client is a well established not for profit organisation delivering health, wellbeing and community support services across South East Queensland.
As part of continued growth within its aged care services, a newly created opportunity is available for an experienced Team Leader, Aged Care to join the team based in Zillmere.
About the Role
This is a broad, hands on leadership role combining people management, client service and operational coordination.
You will:
• Lead and support approximately 8 frontline support workers
• Support a portfolio of approximately 80 to 90 clients
• Coordinate rostering and ensure appropriate service coverage
• Manage timecard approvals and associated workforce administration
• Coordinate new client sign ups and onboarding
• Complete client reviews and ongoing service coordination
• Respond directly to client enquiries and service related issues
• Build strong relationships with clients, families, support workers and internal stakeholders
• Balance office based responsibilities with client and field visits
About You
You will bring:
• Experience within aged care, community services or NDIS
• Previous experience leading or coordinating frontline employees
• Strong exposure to client service delivery and workforce coordination
• Experience across rostering, administration and operational problem solving
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Confidence managing competing priorities and responding to client needs
• A hands on leadership style and willingness to work closely with frontline teams
• Confidence working across both office and field environments
Aged care experience is strongly preferred, although candidates from NDIS and broader community services environments may also be considered where their experience is transferable.
