This project sits within a highly regulated environment, so a sharp understanding of compliance, risk frameworks and the intricacies of financial services (think banking, insurance, super) is essential.
This is an initial 12 month contract open to candidates in Sydney or Melbourne.
About the Role
As a Systems Analyst role, you’ll be at the middle of a GRC transformation working hand on with technical teams, stakeholders and delivery leads to ensure business needs are captured, articulated and translated into high-quality solutions within ServiceNow.
What to expect:
- Elicit, document and manage functional requirements through the full delivery lifecycle.
- Drive process mapping, current/future state analysis and gap assessments.
- Validate that functional specs align with business needs—no mismatched expectations here.
- Support testing teams and UAT activities to ensure quality delivery.
- Collaborate across squads, provide input into change impact assessments, and support strategic planning.
- Operate in an agile-release train style of delivery with exposure to both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
About You
You’re a critical thinker and solutions-oriented collaborator with a background in large, regulated environments, ideally financial services, insurance or superannuation.
We're looking for:
- Extensive experience in Systems/Business Analysis roles.
- Proven experience delivering GRC or regulatory change programs, ideally in the BFSI sector.
- Hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow (GRC module experience highly regarded).
- Comfortable with agile and waterfall hybrid environments.
- Adept with JIRA, Confluence, Teams and other workflow/collaboration tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, you can simplify the complex.
- Relevant certifications (IIBA, Agile BA, Scrum, etc.) are a bonus.
The Benefits
- A high-impact contract role contributing to a major regulatory transformation.
- Hybrid working arrangements - Melbourne or Sydney CBD
- Work with a collaborative and committed delivery team.
- Initial 12 month contract with possible extension
