A leading financial institution seeks a System Analyst based in Melbourne to join the Home Lending team, pivotal in crafting new system features to elevate customer experience and ensure seamless operations.
About the Role
The role centers on a bespoke home lending system, initially focusing on loan origination with expansion plans.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing new features, services, and interfaces to enhance home lending operations.
- Translating business requirements into system specifications, assessing feasibility and impacts.
- Collaborating with Business Analysts, interface partners, vendors, and IT teams to design and troubleshoot solutions, ensuring viability and consistency.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and liaising closely with testers for efficient resolution.
- Creating and managing technical design artefacts to document system specifications and configurations.
- Developing, analysing, prioritizing, and organizing requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for vendors and testers.
About You
Successful candidates will have demonstrated expertise across Home Lending systems, coupled with:
- Proficiency in systems analysis, solution design, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in building user interfaces to enhance user experience.
- Deep knowledge of APIs, SOAP web services and integration services.
- Familiarity with lending systems and various workflow applications, preferably LendFast and PEGA. (highly desirable)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Proven problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to breakdown problem statements into features, epics, user stories and tasks.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
