The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a major data platform initiative designed to consolidate and report Scope 3 emissions data. You’ll play a critical role in enabling compliance with the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS 1 and ASRS 2), supporting mandatory disclosure obligations, and ensuring data integrity for assurance reporting. This role will allow you to work across sustainability, finance, procurement, and technology functions to deliver accurate, transparent, and impactful reporting outcomes.


The Role

As a Sustainability Data Analyst, you’ll support the collection, integration, and reporting of emissions data across a wide range of categories, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and readiness for audit.

  • Identify, source, and validate Scope 3 emissions data from internal systems and external suppliers
  • Collaborate with IT and sustainability teams to automate ingestion pipelines and system integrations
  • Develop dashboards and visualisations in Power BI to support reporting and disclosures
  • Maintain emissions factor libraries and apply accurate calculations across datasets
  • Align data capture with the GHG Protocol and ASRS requirements to ensure compliance
  • Enable traceability of emissions data back to raw sources for assurance readiness

About You

You will bring a strong analytical mindset, with experience working across sustainability (ideally with knowledge of Scope 3 Emissions), data, and compliance requirements.

  • Skilled in Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite, and working with large datasets
  • Experienced in environmental or sustainability data analysis, especially Scope 3 emissions
  • Familiar with GHG Protocol, ASRS, and climate-related disclosure frameworks
  • Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Confident communicator with excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills
