You’ll join their Member Engagement division, in a specialist team focused on helping members prepare for, transition to and enjoy retirement, as well as supporting financial advisers with the implementation of advice strategies.
About the Role
Sitting within the Specialist Funds team, this role is responsible for end-to-end administration
of a suite of retirement and investment products, including:
- Investment Fund
- Defined Benefit schemes
- Lifetime Pension products
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing member onboarding, daily transactions (in and out), account maintenance, exception handling and query resolution across these specialist products.
- Acting as a technical point of reference for the team on Investment Fund, Defined Benefit and other retirement products.
- Supporting senior specialists with complex and escalated queries from member-facing teams, advisers and internal stakeholders.
- Providing SME input into year-end processes, regulatory and actuarial reporting, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Contributing to improvements in processes, documentation, training and knowledge management for specialist products
About You
You are an experienced superannuation specialist who enjoys the detail of complex products and takes pride in getting things right for members.
You will bring:
- Extensive experience in superannuation, in a high-service operations, administration, registry or technical role.
- Proven expertise across Investment Funds and/or Defined Benefit and Lifetime Pension products.
- Strong knowledge of superannuation products, and the ability to interpret and apply super and tax legislation and policy from regulators such as the ATO, APRA, ASIC and Centrelink.
- Comfort working with the rules, calculations and regulations that underpin retirement and specialist products (defined benefit, lifetime pensions, term allocation pensions, guaranteed income and investment funds).
- Excellent stakeholder skills – able to explain complex concepts clearly to member-facing teams, advisers and internal stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, strong planning and prioritisation skills, and confidence working with data, exceptions and issues.
