Davidson is seeking an exceptional senior leader to further strengthen and lead the Strategic Advisory practice of a highly regarded international consulting firm across Asia. This is a unique opportunity to build on an already established and respected platform, enhancing capability and expanding market presence across priority sectors.
The practice is well-positioned in the market, with a strong foundation and existing client base. The focus now is on scaling its impact and deepening relationships across key growth areas, particularly within data centres and renewable energy.
The Role
The Strategic Advisory Leader – Asia is a senior leadership appointment responsible for driving continued growth, commercial performance and delivery excellence across the region. As a member of the Asia Leadership Team, you will contribute to broader regional strategy while collaborating across service lines and geographies to deliver integrated client solutions.
You will refine and execute a clear growth strategy, leveraging an established platform to build a strong and sustainable pipeline of work. A key priority will be strengthening the firm’s position in data centre and renewable energy advisory, supporting investors, developers and financiers across these rapidly evolving sectors.
The role carries full financial and operational accountability, including business planning, revenue and margin performance, forecasting, and resource management.
At a client level, you will act as a trusted advisor to executive teams, boards, investors and financiers, leading complex engagements and delivering independent, commercially grounded advice. You will also provide strategic oversight across advisory assignments, ensuring quality, governance and disciplined delivery standards are upheld.
Advisory Focus
The Strategic Advisory practice provides commercially robust, data-driven advice across the investment and development lifecycle, including feasibility and investment analysis, transaction support, lender advisory services, business case development and post-investment optimisation.
A key area of focus for this role is advising on large-scale data centre developments and renewable energy infrastructure, including supporting capital deployment, technical due diligence, risk assessment and funding strategies.
The practice supports mergers and acquisitions activity through technical and commercial due diligence, asset evaluation, risk assessment and post-acquisition planning, and delivers end-to-end development advisory spanning financial modelling, capital structuring, procurement and risk frameworks. A core component of the role includes acting as Lender’s Technical Advisor and Financier’s Independent Engineer.
In addition, the practice advises on business improvement and transformation initiatives, including portfolio optimisation, governance enhancements and implementation support.
About You
You are an accomplished leader with at least fifteen years’ relevant experience in strategic advisory, consulting, financing, infrastructure, energy, data centres, or related sectors. You bring a proven track record of securing and delivering large-scale, complex projects and advising investors, lenders and boards at an executive level.
You have strong expertise and credibility in data centres and/or renewable energy, with a deep understanding of the commercial, technical and investment drivers in these sectors.
An established network in Singapore is highly preferred, with demonstrated ability to originate work and maintain senior client relationships across the region.
You combine strong commercial acumen with the ability to scale and enhance an existing business line. You are credible at executive and board level, an exceptional communicator and negotiator, and capable of balancing strategic thinking with practical implementation.
