Davidson is proudly partnering with Sleepy’s to appoint a sales‑focused Store Sales Manager for its Sydney store.
About the role
This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading by example and building a strong, capable team.
You will:
- Lead a high‑performing store through visible, hands‑on leadership
- Drive sales performance, commercial outcomes and customer experience
- Coach, develop and inspire a consultative sales team
- Create a personalised, trust‑based customer journey the ‘Sleepy’s Way’
- Take ownership of store standards, daily operations and financial results
- Balance leadership, accountability and personal sales performance with confidence
This role suits someone who enjoys combining human connection with evolving thinking - someone curious about how innovation, new insights into sleep health and emerging technologies (including AI over time) will continue to shape how customers shop for better sleep.
About you
You are a people‑first leader with strong sales instincts and a consultative mindset.
You likely:
- Have experience building trust in face‑to‑face customer environments (retail, service or advisory roles)
- Know how to ask better questions, listen deeply and guide customers toward confident decisions
- Are comfortable overcoming objections and confidently asking for the sale
- Bring energy, curiosity, initiative and accountability to your leadership style
- In a retailer where change is a constant, you role-model and inspire your team to adapt and excel
- Are commercially minded and comfortable in a 7‑day retail environment with a rotating weekend roster
