Davidson is proudly partnering with Sleepy’s to appoint a sales-driven Store Manager for its Sydney store.

About the role

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on the floor, leads from the front and takes pride in building a high-performing team.

You will:

  • Lead a premium retail store through visible, hands-on leadership
  • Drive sales performance, commercial outcomes and customer experience
  • Coach, develop and inspire a consultative, high-performing sales team
  • Deliver a personalised, trust-led customer journey the ‘Sleepy’s Way’
  • Take ownership of store standards, operations and financial performance
  • Balance leadership, accountability and personal sales performance with confidence

This role suits someone who enjoys combining strong human connection with commercial thinking - and who is curious about how innovation, sleep science and emerging technologies will continue to shape the customer experience.

About you

You are a confident, people-first leader with strong sales instincts and a genuine passion for customer experience.

You likely:

  • Have experience in consultative, face-to-face environments (retail, service or advisory)
  • Know how to build trust, ask the right questions and guide customers to confident decisions
  • Are comfortable overcoming objections and confidently asking for the sale
  • Bring energy, curiosity, initiative and accountability to your leadership style
  • Thrive in dynamic environments and can lead teams through change
  • Are commercially minded and comfortable working in a 7-day retail environment with a rotating weekend roster

Backgrounds we encourage:

Experience in consultative, trust-based environments is highly valued. This includes retail, showroom, premium sales, as well as health, wellness or advisory backgrounds where customers rely on your expertise to make important decisions.
