The Opportunity

This is a 6-month contract opportunity for a senior Integration Architect to join a specialist delivery team supporting a major future-state transformation program. The role will focus on the technical architecture of integrations and extensions across a complex SAP S/4HANA landscape, helping deliver secure, scalable, and fit-for-purpose enterprise solutions that support critical supply chain operations. You will work closely with solution architecture, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, security, network, and functional teams to ensure the technical design is sound, aligned to enterprise standards, and ready for delivery.




About the Role

In this role, you will own the end-to-end technical design of custom interfaces and extensions across SAP S/4HANA and related enterprise systems.

  • Lead integration architecture across SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP CPI, and connected systems.
  • Design scalable integration patterns across RFC, IDoc, OData, REST, SOAP, and cloud-based integration platforms.
  • Analyse complex platform landscapes, including SAP S/4HANA, i.Pharmacy, and external systems.
  • Define connectivity requirements including network zones, routing, ports, protocols, and firewall rules.
  • Establish secure authentication and identity architecture, including SSO, SAML/OAuth, certificates, and external connectivity.
  • Prepare architectural documentation, including Solution Architecture Design and Solution Implementation Design artefacts.




About You

You are a senior integration architecture specialist who can operate comfortably across complex enterprise environments and bring clear technical judgement to high-impact delivery work.

  • Extensive experience in integration architecture within complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong experience designing integrations within SAP S/4HANA landscapes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP CPI, SAP CloudALM, and related interfaced applications.
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns, protocols, certificates, tokens, encryption, and secure interoperability.
  • Ability to assess infrastructure considerations including connectivity, performance, capacity, resilience, logging, and monitoring.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Must be willing to proceed as PAYG.
