About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design of secure, scalable and sustainable technology solutions across a significant digital transformation program. Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and delivery partners, this role will focus on translating business requirements into practical solution designs aligned with enterprise architecture standards and strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture across applications, data, integrations, infrastructure and security.
- Translate business requirements into practical, scalable and maintainable technology solutions.
- Develop architecture artefacts, including solution designs, integration diagrams, data flows and technical assessments.
- Evaluate technology options and recommend solutions based on business value, cost, risk and security.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, technology standards and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, vendors and delivery partners throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Provide architectural guidance from initial design through implementation and transition into operational support.
- Design secure and reusable integrations across cloud, on-premises and enterprise platforms.
- Identify architectural risks, technical dependencies and design challenges while supporting effective technology decisions.
About You
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect within complex enterprise environments, delivering end-to-end technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, solution design methodologies and technology governance.
- Experience designing solutions across applications, cloud, infrastructure, data, security and integrations.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical, scalable and secure technology solutions.
- Experience developing solution architecture documentation, technical designs, integration diagrams and architecture recommendations.
- Strong understanding of the technology delivery lifecycle, from solution design through implementation and operational transition.
- Experience in integration architecture, API design, event-driven architecture and enterprise integration platforms will be highly regarded.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.
- Relevant architecture, cloud or integration certifications will be highly regarded.
