Our client is an established organisation within the superannuation industry currently investing in a range of technology and business transformation initiatives. They offer a complex enterprise environment and are looking to strengthen their architecture capability with an experienced Solution Architect.
About the Role
An opportunity is available for an experienced Solution Architect to work across a portfolio of technology initiatives, helping shape solutions from early discovery through to implementation.
You will partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements, assess solution options and determine the most appropriate technical approach. The role will provide architectural direction throughout delivery, working closely with internal technology teams and external partners to ensure solutions align with the organisation's broader technology strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead solution architecture across multiple technology initiatives
- Translate business needs into clear and practical technical solutions
- Assess technology options and recommend appropriate approaches
- Provide architectural guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Work across complex applications and enterprise technology environments
- Identify technical risks, dependencies and implementation considerations
- Partner with engineering, project and business teams throughout delivery
- Work with technology vendors and third-party partners
- Support technical governance and solution approval processes
- Maintain appropriate architecture and solution documentation
About You
You will be an experienced Solution Architect who has worked within large, complex organisations and is comfortable operating across both business and technology.
You will ideally have:
- Significant experience delivering enterprise technology solutions
- Several years' experience working in Solution Architecture
- Broad technical knowledge across modern enterprise environments
- Experience designing solutions involving multiple systems and integrations
- Exposure to cloud technologies and contemporary architecture practices
- Strong understanding of security and operational considerations
- Experience taking solutions from initial requirements through to implementation
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience working with multidisciplinary technology and delivery teams
- Financial services, superannuation, wealth or insurance experience is advantageous
