About The Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Technical Lead / Solution Architect to support a range of projects across both Gas and Electricity domains.
This role will focus on designing and delivering practical, end-to-end solutions across Digital and OT systems. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across business, operations, and technology to ensure solutions are aligned to regulatory requirements, operational needs, and delivery outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading solution architecture and detailed design across OT and IT systems
- Defining integration patterns and data flows across field, operational, and enterprise platforms
- Ensuring alignment with regulatory and operational requirements
- Working with vendors and delivery teams to implement fit-for-purpose solutions
- Driving ownership from design through to delivery and handover
- Supporting collaboration across cross-functional teams including field operations, security, and product
About You:
You’ll be an experienced Solution Architect or Technical Lead with a strong background in utilities and OT-integrated environments.
Key experience includes:
- Experience across Electricity and/or Gas utilities, including distribution or pipelines
- Strong exposure to OT systems, smart metering, AMI, and SCADA environments
- Understanding of Australian energy market frameworks (AEMO, AER, metering/data)
- Experience integrating OT and IT systems across asset management, field operations, and control room environments
- Familiarity with platforms such as SAP IS-U, GIS (GE Smallworld), and metering/distribution systems
- Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to drive design outcomes across multiple teams
- A practical, structured approach with the ability to operate across evolving environments
