The Opportunity
Our client is undertaking a significant transformation in the field services space, focused on enhancing both employee and customer experiences through innovative technology. As a Solution Architect, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering solution architecture that supports strategic business and IT objectives. This is an opportunity to influence a high-impact initiative, collaborate with senior leaders, and deliver meaningful outcomes across the organisation.
This is a Sydney based role that offers hybrid working with 2-3 days work from home. Unfortunately sponsorship is not available for this opportunity. The daily rate is $1,000 - $1,200 per day depending on your level of expereince.
The Role
As a Solution Architect you will be responsible for designing and driving the architecture strategy that underpins the client’s new field services capability.
Your other responsibilities will include:
- Defining and implementing end-to-end solution strategies aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Collaborating with business leaders, process owners, and IT teams to translate requirements into practical solution designs.
- Providing technical guidance and oversight throughout the solution lifecycle, ensuring best practice, governance, and regulatory alignment.
- Developing architectural artifacts including roadmaps, standards, and design principles to guide solution decisions.
- Conducting system assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and recommending innovative solutions that drive value.
- Supporting governance processes to ensure architectural consistency and integrity across field services solutions.
About You
In order to be a successful applicant you will have demostrated proven experience working across FSM systems and solutions as a Senior Solutions Architect.
You will also have:
- A proven record of designing and implementing architecture for large-scale, multi-layered transformation programs focused on FSM - Field Service Management.
- Strong knowledge of field service management platforms, enterprise applications, and SAP systems (including FI, CO, PM, MM, PS, IS-U, BW, BTP, Integration Suite, GRC, and UX solutions).
- Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks, cloud technologies, integration, and application architecture.
- Ability to collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, balancing technical depth with clear communication.
- Experience developing strategies, roadmaps, and future-state solution designs aligned to best practice methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
