Our legal sector client has an urgent requirement for a Service Desk / Desktop Support professional to join their team on a permanent basis.
In this role, you’ll be the friendly face of IT, helping staff with everything from setting up new starters to troubleshooting laptops and software glitches. You’ll handle walk-ups, service desk overflow calls, and on-the-spot training on systems like Microsoft Co-Pilot and Teams.
The position requires you to be based in the Brisbane CBD office 5 days per week and offers a very competitive salary and additional benefits. It is essential that all applicants have excellent communication and proven customer service skills, coupled with previous experience working in a fast paced, corporate environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a high level of professional face-to-face IT support to end users
- Manage walk-ups and handle IT service desk overflow calls
- Set up and offboard users, ensuring all equipment and access are in order
- Train users on new technologies and applications like Microsoft Co-Pilot
- Collaborate with IT colleagues to share knowledge and improve service
Skills and experience required
- Solid foundational technical skills and a genuine interest in learning new technology
- Experience providing IT support in a corporate or professional environment
- Great communication skills, with a strong customer service focus
- Knowledge of the Microsoft stack of products including Windows 11, MS Office Co-Pilot, Teams, and Generative AI tools
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work both independently and in a team
