Senior UX Designer

We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to support the delivery of user-centred digital solutions across large-scale public sector initiatives.
Working within a multidisciplinary design and product team, you will collaborate with product managers, engineers, delivery leads, policy teams, and architects to design accessible and inclusive digital experiences.
You will focus on developing solutions that balance user needs with business and regulatory requirements, conduct user research and usability testing, and contribute to design systems and pattern libraries. The role will also involve presenting design decisions and rationale to stakeholders and aligning outcomes with broader service objectives.
The ideal candidate will have experience across the full UX design process, strong proficiency with Figma and FigJam, and familiarity with tools such as Optimal Workshop. Exposure to mobile app (Android/iOS) design, service design methods, and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards will be highly regarded.
This is a hybrid role with flexible work arrangements, currently one day per week in the office (Tuesdays) with the potential for up to three days onsite. There is no formal Christmas shutdown period, though short planned leave of up to two weeks over the break is acceptable.
