The Opportunity

This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the client’s Digital Engineering function, which is focused on developing technology solutions that enhance performance, efficiency, and long-term sustainability. As a Senior Test Analyst, you’ll play a key part in supporting the implementation of a new Works and Asset Management solution—ensuring reliability, accuracy, and quality across critical digital platforms.
This role requires someone who can come into the office which based in Geelong 2-3 days per week. Unfortunately sponsorship is not available for this position. Inital 10 month contract with scope to extend.
The Role
As a
Senior Test Analyst, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing testing activities across all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring that solutions meet business and technical requirements.
Your other responsibilities will include:
- Developing detailed test plans, cases, and data for functional, integration, and performance testing.
- Leading defect management processes, including triage and resolution coordination.
- Defining and maintaining test coverage across key business use cases and integration points.
- Collaborating closely with internal teams, product owners, and external vendors to achieve successful outcomes.
- Providing technical guidance on test tools, frameworks, and methodologies, including API testing and automation.
- Reporting on test progress, outcomes, and quality metrics to ensure transparency and delivery confidence.
About You
In order to be a successful applicant, you will bring extensive experience in enterprise-level software testing and a passion for delivering high-quality digital outcomes.
You will also have:
- A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Professional testing certification (ISTQB preferred).
- 5–7 years’ experience in software testing, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Strong understanding of API testing, regression, and performance validation across multi-system environments.
- Experience with JIRA or similar defect management tools, including test reporting and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
