Senior Test Analyst
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking program at the heart of energy and gas distribution reform. As part of a critical testing team, you will contribute to quality outcomes across systems and platforms that support market reforms and operational excellence. This role offers both technical depth and stakeholder exposure in a collaborative Melbourne-based setting.
This opportunity requires you to be in the office based in Melbourne CBD 3 days per week. Unfortunately it does not offer sponsorship.
The Role
As a Senior Test Analyst, you will be responsible for hands-on test execution and validation across integrated utility systems.
Your other responsibilities will include:
- Executing end-to-end integration testing across electricity or gas systems
- Testing interfaces and workflows between SAP ISU, Itron, UIQ, MTS, and IEE
- Validating market transaction flows and NMI-level data integrity
- Supporting defect triage, issue resolution, and test reporting
- Ensuring alignment with regulatory reform initiatives (e.g. NEM, FTA)
- Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors
About You
In order to be a successful applicant, you will bring strong hands-on testing experience within the energy or gas distribution sector.
You will also have:
- Experience in market-facing utilities projects and reforms
- Working knowledge of metering systems such as Itron, and platforms like UIQ and IEE
- Familiarity with SAP ISU and market transaction validation
- Strong analytical skills and test documentation capability
- Confidence in stakeholder engagement and communication
- Exposure to structured test delivery in regulated environments
