The Opportunity
Our client in the energy sector is seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to support a range of transformation projects. This is an initial 6-month contract with strong potential for extension, working on complex system integration across core energy platforms. ASAP start, maximum 2 week notice period.
This opportunity unfortunately does not offer sponsorship and requires you to be in the office based in Melbourne CBD 2 days per week.
The Role
As a Senior Test Analyst, you will be responsible for hands-on testing of integrated systems across a multi-party environment.
Your other responsibilities will include:
- Planning, documenting, and executing functional and technical test cases across energy systems
- End-to-end system integration testing across platforms such as SAP-ISU, IEE/MTS, UIQ/SIQ
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across a multi-vendor environment
- Driving quality outcomes through structured test processes in a primarily waterfall delivery environment
- Supporting defect management, triage, and test reporting across the project lifecycle
- Ensuring traceability between business requirements and test coverage
About you
In order to be a successful applicant you will bring proven experience in testing within large, regulated energy sector environments.
You will also have:
- Strong domain expertise in the energy/utilities sector
- Hands-on experience with SAP-ISU, IEE/MTS and multi-party systems like UIQ and SIQ
- Experience testing integrations between retail, metering, and customer platforms
- A collaborative approach with the confidence to drive outcomes and challenge processes when needed
- Excellent documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Exposure to waterfall delivery and formal test lifecycle methodologies
