Major projects are already underway. These include the full Planning Scheme review through Building Better Neighbourhoods
and the Nikenbah and Dundowran Land Use and Infrastructure Investigation.

About the Role
These roles sit within Strategic Land Use Planning and will play a key part in delivering high-profile, region-shaping initiatives.
You will:
- Lead and contribute to major Planning Scheme reform
- Deliver strategic land use and infrastructure investigations
- Prepare policy documents, reports and briefing materials
- Engage with stakeholders and present recommendations
- Provide high-level planning advice across Council
This is not a routine development assessment role - it is strategic, forward-looking and influential.

About You
You are an experienced strategic planner with:
- Strong knowledge of Queensland planning legislation
- Experience delivering complex planning or policy projects
- The ability to interpret legislation and apply it practically
- Confidence engaging with stakeholders and senior leaders
- Strong written and analytical capability
You are motivated by meaningful work and want to see your contribution reflected in long-term regional outcomes.

- OR Stream A 7.1 at $109,832 + super
- $6,000 relocation allowance
- 10-day fortnight (IFA option) or 9-day fortnight (Stream option)
