The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a leading financial services organisation to find a Senior Solution Designer for a critical digital transformation initiative within their business banking division. This is a unique opportunity to influence high-profile, enterprise-level platforms that support essential services such as payments, trade finance, and cash management.
You’ll join a highly skilled and collaborative team working in a hybrid model with 3 days per week in a centrally located Melbourne CBD office. Remote working and sponsorship unfortunately are not available for this role.
The Role
As a Senior Solution Designer, you will be responsible for ensuring that technical solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture and meet business requirements.
Your other responsibilities will include:
- Leading solution design efforts across multiple initiatives, ensuring consistency with architectural standards and strategic goals.
- Collaborating with stakeholders including architects, analysts, and developers to translate requirements into effective design specifications.
- Producing high-level and functional design documentation that supports scalability and maintainability.
- Identifying and resolving design and integration challenges across systems and platforms.
- Contributing to shared design frameworks, repositories, and component libraries to support consistency and reusability.
- Supporting project scoping, technical estimations, and strategic planning activities.
About You
In order to be a successful applicant you will bring deep technical expertise and a track record of delivering high-quality solution designs in complex environments.
You will also have:
- Extensive solution design experience within large-scale enterprise systems.
- Strong capability in Java, AWS, JavaScript, and both front-end and back-end development frameworks.
- Proven experience in systems integration, including legacy and modern platforms.
- Solid understanding of enterprise architecture standards and design methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field.
